I repaired his bike last fall - crankset, chain, cassette, and RD along with a good cleaning. Last week he surprised me by riding in Friday. This week he rode Monday and today. For a 24 mile round trip he's doing great. I did have to adjust his shifters slightly but I'm pleasantly surprised with his progress.

Feels pretty good, doesn't it? I did a fairly thorough overhaul on a coworker's bike earlier this year. On Monday she was all smiles, she came in to work on Sunday for a few hours, and rode the bike. Says she plans to ride again on Friday, and is starting to ask questions about bike commuting. May have another convert!

I added a rack and some lighting to a co-worker's bike just last night. But she's been riding to work for a while. Now she's going to start doing grocery runs too. Good times!
