first commute
Did my first bike commute to work today, in Richardson/Plano, Texas. Nice ride. Been trying to do this for a month, but every day it either rained (as in huge storms) or it was a day I really needed my car. Was able to do about 50% of my ride on Richardson's bike trails, the rest was no big deal. Got to work feeling good.
The Electra Townie 21 worked well for the 7.5 mile ride. I have some Cannondale Panniers for my stuff. The upright position was good. Saving myself 2 dollars of gasoline today.
