Today has just been one of those days. I took the wrong pack so my wallet, keys, and phone are at home. I got someone to let me in my office, and I've been using a conference room as a base of operations (my cell is my business phone). However, the people I'd normally want to borrow money from aren't in today. I used to keep an extra $5 hidden just for such an emergency but I forgot to replenish. Ain't nothin' like putting in a full day and riding 44 miles with no food to work up an appetite and to boost memory so you don't forget things in the future....

What's your fax number there in the conference room? I'll fax you a pizza!

Unfortunately, no fax here. Just a speakerphone. I expect dinner will taste especially good tonight. Hunger is the best seasoning -- I'll bet the dog's dinner would taste as good as sirloin to me.
