I'm not going to wax eloquent with a richly spun yarn about the commute today. I think I can sum it up briefly in a way that all here will groan over and empathize with:

23 miles round trip.

Headwind both ways.

2 flat repairs.

Sigh. Some days are better than others.

Hopefully you don't have to work tomorrow. Even if you do, have one on me

I have been there and that seriously sucks when it happens. It can get me down enough to write a decent country music song...I just can't think of anything good that rhymes with headwind.

One thing I intend to add to my toolkit after this: wet-naps. A few individually sealed ones.

After two flat repairs, and forgetting to put my chain on the smallest ring because I was in such a hurry for the second, my hands were filthy. A couple of wet-naps would have been great.
