Analytical Chemist. NMR Spectroscopy & Chromatography. Not a physically demanding job but sometimes I do do a lot of moving back and forth between the two labs (on different floors) and my office.

I'm not a commuter yet....tomorrow will be day one hopefully! I'll be taking my 3yo and 7yo to the sitters first so its an experiment to see if 7yo can handle the ride. 3yo will be on the trail-a-bike.

Anyway, I'm the Human Resources Director for one of the nation's largest natural history Museums. I LOVE my job!

Research scientist at a start-up biotech firm. Trying to figure out how to gracefully deal with summer sweat since this place doesn't have a cold room to cool off in like my previous lab did.

Product Reliability and Safety Engineer at a company that makes Hydrogen Fuel Cells to replace noisy, dirty, inefficient and oil-dependent gasoline engines in cars and busses.

Our car-company parent gives us generous incentives to buy and drive their products to work, but I STILL choose to ride my bike!

College student here, doing whatever it takes to survive. Though hearing about all these layoffs doesnt get my hopes high for when I graduate, maybe I should learn a foreign language or two.
