Nashbar Vest - $9.99

https://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?c...All%20Products

Nashbar has put together a high visibility vest to keep you protected in low light conditions. It features lots of reflective taping to keep any cyclist visible to traffic and pedestrians. The velcro closures make it adustable, comfortable and easy to fit over a jacket or jersey. With an array of sizes you can outfit the entire family for safer rides at sunset.

Yeah, I saw that it the last catalog. I just paid twice that plus shipping from Alert Shirt. Wish I saw it a couple of weeks earlier it's a steal.

I have one...it is too hot for days like today, but it's fine for fall/spring/winter, which is when we're mostly commuting in the dark anyway.

I got this vest from Home Depot that is rated ANSI Class II. It was $20. I think it may be a better choice because it's reflectivity is tested and very high whereas with another unrated vest you don't know how well it works.

Edit: That vest is sold as one size fits all but the tag on it says it is XL. It fit me alright but may be too big for some people.
