You just need to convince your local government that you have a plan to feed the homeless and clean up the waterfront pathways at the same time.
The county even tried catching and transporting the geese. But guess what? They can fly and are smart enough to find their way back. I ride through the goose habitat 3-5 times a week, and like the OP have no love for these birds too lazy to fly back and forth from Canada to the Carolinas like they're supposed to. |

Fixed.
I do not think that would be legal or practical. At speed the heat would come back at you, you'd need to maintain a flammable materials tank and piping system, and carry it on the bike somehow. I personally have no problem with geese or any other birds. :D - Andy |

Don't mess with large birds.
http://www.bikeforums.net/fifty-plus...ml#post2175061 As to what to do with Canada geese, you get off their lawn. Yes it's their lawn now. It's very difficult to persuade a flock to leave permanently. You could suggest to kill them all, but that's not going to fly (:)) for reasons already mentioned here. --J |
You people won't understand fear until you're all alone trying to leave a flier on the door of a very rural home and find yourself cornered by a half dozen hostile emus.
The wolf experience went badly too. |
At last elephant birds are not around anymore!! :twitchy:

The obvious solution for zombie geese is for them to not wear headphones.

Here's one giving me a malevolent stare from the Heritage Trail here in Pittsburgh:
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=386611 I kept thinking if someone comes around the curve in the trail and hit one of them at speed it would be an ugly situation. "Oh the humanity...." |
