Clothing tips for the office quick-change?

Most of what I see posted in this forum deals with bikes and routes, but almost nothing on how to manage clothing for bike commuters.

My ride is short...just about 15 minutes...but in the humid summer, I'd prefer not to show up at my office with a wet shirt (typical office garb is dress shirt, tie, slacks, nicer shoes).

I'm hoping to ride in with shorts and a t-shirt and change in my office, but I might be able to wear my slacks and shoes, and just change the shirt when I arrive.

Any tips for how to get clothes into the office without wrinkles?

Really?

Search the forum for the word clothes in the thread title... there's more info there than you'll want to read.

Lots of threads about this. Here goes again:

I bring clothes almost every day. Shoes and belt stay at the office: 1 black set, 1 brown set.

Fold pants down creases from the bottom, fold in half. Neatly folded dress shirt face down on top of that. Undershirt, underwear, tie, socks on top of that. Roll. Stick "the burrito" in pannier. Ride to work. Water on face. Cool down for 15-20 minutes. Change.

This is helpful...thanks! I was thinking of the pannier burrito, too. It looks like using the pants plus shirt roll creates a larger bundle that's less likely to wrinkle. When I commuted in grad school, there was a box of baby wipes in the office to clean up, too.

BTW, before posting I checked through four screens of threads without seeing anything specifically on managing office clothing. It'd be good to see a "sticky" on the topic.

Always roll, that's the main thing. My little trick in addition is that I put my wallet and other "pocket things" in my pants pockets and put my belt on my pants at home. Then when I get to work, I just un-roll, put on my pants and shirt and there ya go. No fumbling with your keys and wallet and change in the bathroom stall.

I where slacks and a dress shirt with a tie. I launder my shirts and find folding them and laying them in the pannier doesn't cause any wrinkles. It will probably depend on your pannier.

I wouldn't try wearing my pants for the ride. I wore khakis home once and ended up getting grease on them because I forgot that I had nice pants on.

One handy item a coworker gave me is a tie caddy https://www.tiecaddy.com/ keeps your tie from getting wrinkled.

My ideal setup would be driving a weeks worth of clothes in on Sunday and carrying them home through the week. Right now, a pile of light sweater's, deodorant, and my shoes stay at the office, so all I worry about is the pants, undershirt, socks and underwear. Inevitably I'll have to drive for one reason or another during the week so I'll plan ahead and bring lunch and snack items to keep at work too.

Roll 'em, or get a special clothes pannier. Or drive 'em in once a week.

I carry a change of clothes in my pannier each day, minus a belt and pair of dress shoes which are kept in the office. A small Eagle Creek folder is used to ensure that they arrive unwrinkled.
