I saw a homeless man in Detoit riding a bike with the same configuration.

It must be ugly.

Treespeed, is that an old Kona Hot? Such a sweet frame if it is...!

I love all my bikes but if I had to pick the ugliest in the stable, it would be my old Gary Fisher Wahoo. But I still ride it almost every other day.

I should get points for the homemade fenders, the kick stand and the peeling decals among other things.

Am I the only one here who does not understand how the cranks on that Condor work? Am I really seeing what I think I am? Both crank arms down at the same time? Is this a bike intended to be ridden by a kangaroo?

That's pretty ugly, Aaron, but it gets even uglier with BASKETS!

I think I must have won this contest... this really is an ugly bike... even when it's in the sun.

I'm not so sure about that - my 9 year old son just walked into the room while I was viewing this thread, saw your bike and said "Whoa Mom, scroll back down, that bike is *so awesome*." I kid you not.

Which just goes to show that there really is no such thing as an ugly bike.

I love that ugly old bike and it does seem that people like her... you can tell your son that bike is 75 years old and was made in Canada (it's a CCM).

Just wait 'til spring... she will have a new coat of paint in the proper colours.

My old ride, now retired from active duty. Surprisingly no one has ever tried to steal it.

jgrendel 10-22-08 06:53 AM

I almost bought a 199something mountain bike to use as a winter bike. The damn thing was bright pink. It was fugly. I wanted it bad.

Then I remembered I don't have a garage, yard, or any other place to put an ice covered bike. :(

Are they powercranks?

Pretty sure they are... as that pic belongs to a guy that has a powercrank as an icon and has powercranks in his sig.

Wouldn't mind trying them... but way too expensive for my wallet.

Metricoclock 10-22-08 07:03 PM

wheres the bike with the garage door opener mounted on the scott aero drops? it might belong in here :P

cyclokitty 10-22-08 07:08 PM

All of these bikes are great looking!

Nice tries, though.

Yeah, they've all got a lot of the "Fred Factor" in them, and that appeals to me more than a pristine bike that doesn't get out of the garage.

funrover 10-23-08 12:34 AM

I won't win.. so here is my shameless plug for my winter ride
