I can't even imagine all the Giant Butte jokes I'd get if I rode that to work, but it looks like a really solid commuter. No pics of my super sad c-dale, but I'll work on it.

LOL - I didn't notice that at first! Regardless, no way that bike's winning an ugly contest.

Ugly, but functional. Notice the full fenders for a Los Angeles commuter.
Keeping it real, PNW style.

You hit it on the head about the butte jokes. I was going to cover that part up but it's been too much fun.

I guess you can't see how beat the paint is and purple isn't really my color. The rest don't look to ugly to me either.

So is the strange fender spacing intentional?

Semi-ugly, I still think my rig's uglier. C'mon, who has a commuter that's snaggletooth ugly?

Well, I get compliments on this one all the time, so it can't be ugly.

I get compliments on this one too, so I guess it isn't ugly either.

I guess I lose.

My former commuter...over 15,000 miles worth and still ridable.

Come on people, most of these aren't even a little ugly! Or maybe I just like bikes too much.

There is not enough ugly in here. Credit to Ka_Jun and Treespeed for sure, but the rest of you aren't even trying! (Of course, recumbents are inherently ugly, but that's just a whole different league.) Where's the guy with the hand-painted fenders?

Here we go. It doesn't look too bad in the pictures, but it's ugly. I also threw in another picture of it to prove it's a commuter.

Nah, not just you. Some of the posted rigs are downright purdy.

Let's see some bikes that you look at and say out loud, "Damn, I like bikes and all, but that is one UGLY ass ride!"

Hmm. These bikes are definitely not ugly enough. My Raleigh may qualify though! I posted a pic in the Utility forum a while ago: https://www.bikeforums.net/utility-cycling/396320-loaded-myself-down-today.html
