Why didn't I do it sooner?

I got a handlebar mount for my Garmin GPSMap 60CSX. I didn't even know they sold one until I saw it while flipping through amazon-dot-com a couple weeks ago. I was so proud rolling up to volleyball with a new GPS console on my Nova.

I need to change how they taped my handlebar tape, though. There's only room for one gadget on each side right now, and I still have several toys to put on there, like my incredibell, headlight and video camera. (It isn't my commuter, but my Nova is the bike that I ride longer distances to explore the back roads.)

Now all you need is Topofusion. To put it crudely, it's slicker than snot. You can download track-logs and keep detailed records of your commutes, and pan-zoom the maps.

I have a 60CS and a RAM mount. It works great!

They should have made the $$$$ gps so that you could run new software via the SD card, so it can do things like integrate "bike computer" functions with the GPS using the serial interface, and save the data to the card.
