Thanks guys. I ended up just using one of those $1 padded hooks from the hardware store you just twist into the wall. So much easier and I can put it dry any level I wanted.
Turns out the leonardo rack's opening was just not wide enough to fit my tire and rim. It works better on standard rims not deep wheels like Fixies have.

I have 2 things like the Leonardo and 2 giant cup hooks, I think I prefer the cup hooks but no real difference, as long as they go into the studs of course. I do have them all high enough up that the rear wheel is on the wall not the floor. A couple of 30+ pounders do fine on them.
