Having spent six years in Munich, I am very envious of you. Enjoy.

There's more bikes than cars. Remarkable.

I bought my commuter bike after just taking a little bike tour around Munich. That tour even prompted my wife to start cycling some.

Great town!

It's on my short list of cities I want to visit. I hear they have

1. bicycles
2. German beer

and I stopped listening. Sounds like heaven.

Hey - what are the rentable bikes called? I thought this system was really cool - I think you can call in and they will unlock them for you... We were very envious of people "Doo-da-doooing" thru Englisher (SP?) Park on them. Spent a few very good (read guts full of beer/stomachs full of sausage) days staying right in Viktuelen (SP?) Markt...
