Bell for STI Shifters?
I'm wondering if people have bell recommendations for (or near) STI shifters. I've got them on my CX commuter and usually ride on the hoods. My first pick would be a bar end bell, but this is more convenient if riding in the drops. Thanks for the advice!

I use one of these on my CX bike. It mounts underneath the top cap on your headset. Not quite at the hoods, but fairly accessible when needed.

Here's how I had mine mounted a while back. They're Sora shifters though. Don't know how it would work with the paddle on other TI levers.

The pic looks like an Incredibell with a headset mount. I've been using regular Incredibells mounted vertically on my stem vertical. In some cases, the stem is too big and I made a diameter extension for the bell with a cable tie.
I don't think I'd want something near my STI shifters, and this method hides the bell reasonably.

Mine is mounted on the curve like jwgd's, except I put mine on the right bar and pointed the ringer toward the back, so I ring it with my thumb. It's super convenient from the hoods. Less so from the drops, but it can be done.
And it shouldn't be a problem for STI, since nothing protrudes in front of the bar (as long as the bell isn't huge).

I use an old bell I had lying around, used cable ties instead of the bolts it came with so it fits around the bar.
I put it on the flat part of the drop bars, near where the bar tape ends, so I can reach it from the hoods but still ride on the flat part of the bar.
