So I went commando

I knew this day would come. I forgot my underwear. It was either VPL or commando, and in TX it's still a sweaty ride, gross.
Does anyone have any ideas about where to hide extra underwear. I'm somewhat nervous about pulling I report out of my desk along with a pair of panties. Because that wouldn't be weird or anything.

In other news, I've only been commuting for a month and a half and have yet to get my rack, panniers together.

Thanks guys!

That's happned to me too. Once I went commando, the other time I rode down to the local Marshall's and picked up a couple of spare pairs.

You could put a spare inside an opaque water bottle and keep that in your desk. No one would question the contents.

alright. That's just funny.
I've never had trouble remembering my underwear, but ya know...

I do use my trunk and panniers though and have a locker that I use in the shower room. But I do keep most of my clothes at my desk in a drawer. I tend to keep them the socks/underwear backups (I have a full set of backup clothes just in case) in a ziploc bag with the air pushed out as much as possible. Can't tell what they are, so it's fine.

LOL been there done that. I finally broke down today (by coincidence!) and I'm keeping a full set of clothes in the locker at my desk. Underwear, socks, shirt...I've forgotten it all. Of course, I have a locker behind my desk so I don't have to worry about my boxers popping out along with the files....

How about a small box of stuff under you desk? Save a box, maybe like good envelopes come in.

I keep a paper lunch bag in a drawer with a pair of underwear and a pair of socks, it's my "just in case" bag.

And if someone tries to steal my lunch they deserve what they get

At one point, I had a pair of pants that looked OK but could stand to be replaced, and some socks and underwear in the same state, so I put them in a little bag and keep them in a desk drawer. Besides covering me for forgetfulness, it also covers for any failure of rain gear, or some other totally unexpected thing, at no cost.

I keep a full set of clothes in my desk. Nothing comes home without receiving a replacement. If it is dirty so be it.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I brought three pairs with me to work today, one for every type of pant/skirt combo that I could think of. They are hiding in my "make-up" case in my desk. I am thrilled I don't ever have to worry about being commando in a skirt, nor will I have to explain underwear to the boss. Funny stories though

Meh, nothing wrong with commando.
I have a whole drawer in my desk that's nothing but a week's worth of clothes. But at my job, EVERYTHING is on the computer; the desk drawers have NOTHING work related in them, just a bunch of junk I've accumulated over the last 15 years.

I have a 4ft file drawer just dedicated to commuting, spare cloths for a week, extra wet weather cloths in case the weather liar is wrong, and a spare commuter outfit....just in case of a bad ride it or something.

Going commando is less distracting that having to look at women with their thongs sticking out of the back of their pants. Seriously.

Not so weird assuming you are a women. But pretty weird if your a man.

I have an entire cloths tree in my office. But that is not what makes others think I am weird. Cycle commuting is sufficient.
