Japanese commuter bicycles specially the higher end models are installed with alloy brakes. I was able to get extra units for my bicycles as replacement for corroded chromed brakes. I would be replacing the nuts with stainless prior to installation.

Yesterday a friend lend me a book and guess what? It's a bicycle guide "Taiwan Bicycle Source 2011 - 2012".
The catalog is 3 inches thick and contains everything about bicycles made in Taiwan & China. Since Taiwan and China made bicycles, parts and accessories are all around LBS a bicycle catalog like this would be very helpful in sourcing for bicycle items.

I got hold of this motocross bicycle frame which the LBS classified as an old stock. The frame is size 20 and since I have spares of parts for this size I decided to assembled it to a semi lowrider. Next week I'll be sending the frame for painting since I had almost of the parts aligned and tested already.

My motocross framed bicycle turned to a commuter bicycle. I named it Street Glider.
Newly painted with new parts.

Just came from a bicycle trader who have old bicycle parts and accessories. I was able to source an old reflector for the wheels. It's a Cat Eye RR 2600 but the fittings are gone already so I have to figure out the best mounting attachment to install it.

Installing an LED flasher/headlight. I used an alloy step nut and slided it to a stainless steel basket holder and then strapping the LED on it.

I bought this chary 3 days ago. It's model name is Flare and wheel set is size 22 x 1 3/8.
So far I just cleaned the bicycle and added a chromed basket and a front / rear LED flashers.
The rims are chromed with a mint condition stainless steel fenders plus good set of white sided tires.
This is my first bicycle for this size in my collection. I will probably have it powder coated after the rainy season.

Got this G.R.Q. PICO bicycle a few days ago from a friend. The wheelset is size 16" and 20".
I installed a custom kickstand, LED flashers, and a dynamo LED headlight. I still have to source for a white sided tire for the rear wheel and new hubs with stainless steel spokes. The bicycle carrier is good for carrying small pets.

I changed the seat post and seat to a folding seat post which I bought months ago. It's the seat post most common on Japanese electric bicycles. It straightens up for easy pull out of batteries under the seat but in my case I use it for heavy sunlight to keep my seat cool.

This Cat Eye bell is very useful considering its size. Out of stock at the moment but I would consider having a few pcs. when it comes out in the market again.

Saw this repair by my bicycle mechanic (Olan) yesterday. It took him less than 5 minutes for the repair. Olan does repairs and custom works on bicycles.
