changed things up a bit
went from this....
tho this...
to this!
decided to go minimal, i use a messanger bag, no need for a rack, dont need the big ring up front so i took it off and changed up the cassette for a 12-27, swapped my 105 rear derailleur for and ultegra with a short cage. picked up some jamis commuter moustache bars, took the stem and chain guard off my Felt and swapped them onto this. took the noisy shimano 600 brake off the rear and replace it with a RSX front brake with cork pads. ditched the fenders. went down to a 23c foldable race tire. and i'm using the bontrager commuter gel saddle now instead of the pivotal bmx style saddle i had. i stopped wearing bike shorts, no need to. just jeans and a t shirt.
i did all this because i moved closer to work ( commute's about 13 miles now instead of 18. )
what do you guys think?
