Weinmann SP-17s?

HELP!
I'm putting my first ss/fg bike together and recently bought a set of Weinmann SP-17's which I believe are ATB wheels. With that being said I'm quite concerned with the fact that they might taco due to the steel frame and my larger stature (6'6" 230lbs). So I'm just hoping to get some feedback here because I ride a handbuilt wheel on my road bike and this wheel seems a bit chinsy and light compared to my road wheel. With rough roads in the spring, I would think that, that would also put more strain on these wheels... should I return them and look for something different or will these work? If these wheels won't work any ideas for a ss/fg bike that would work? Any help would be appreciated!
