Got KHS Urban Uno?

I did a search and I'm not finding much on this bike. Does anyone own one and what are your thoughts?

Here's a video from a recent bike show.

I know that I'm bringing something back that has been asleep for about 6 months, but I'm wondering if (like the OP) anyone has experience with this?

I'm wanting to get a FG/SS to use as a commuter, but my choices are limited to what I can get locally. This appears to be a decent one for the price. And I like steel, which narrows it down even more. As far as I know, the only steel fg/ss bikes around are this, masi speciale (too $$), and marin hamilton 29er.

My bad. I totally blanked on the Bianchi's. I think I've spent too much time looking up every manufacturer local to me. That SE Draft is Hi-Ten, but the Stout might be doable, if heavy. The Redline looks nice, but I would have to special order it, even through the local Redline distributor.

There is a Raleigh dealer in town. Since the One Way comes with a Brooks B17 stock, I already know that it would be out of my price range . And my fave LBS just started stocking LHTs, so I probably could ask about ordering a Steamroller or doing a conversion build on one of their other frames (like I got the scratch for that )

I got one a couple weeks ago and love it, I was really set on getting a tricross single and decided to take the uno out for a spin when picking up some goodies at the shop and was really surprised at how smooth it rolled and purchased the uno instead. It is my commuter and get around town bike though I have taken it on some 40-50 mile group rides just for fun. From what I was told at the shop it is the same frame as KHS urban series just done in single. This is my second khs bike and I have been very happy with the quality of their bikes and very happy with their prices. One thing they left out on the specs is it comes with a black bash guard. I also get a lot of compliments on the looks bike, more than any other bike I have owned.

One thing that I thought was silly was they painted the braking surface black, which looks good but not black on mine anymore
