My other bike
This is my fair weather bike. I scrounged parts from my basement to put it together. It is a single speed since that's what I had parts for. I would ride it more but I can't figure out how to get a fender mounted around the front brake and it rains a lot here.

My new (Soon to be) Commuter
This is my first serious bike, Haven't ridden hard in like ten years but did a lot of riding on dept. store bikes as a young one
It is a (Late?) 80's Model Falcon Harrier 12 speed English made lugged frame(Reynolds 453 single butted tubing), Shimano Shifters, weinmann brakes, and a real crap plastic seat with a gel cushion that after only a short ride is killing me... Def gonna have to upgrade that thing post haste.
Scored it on craig's list for what i think was a pretty good price. Anyway seeing as i'm new to the forum and semi new to the sport let me know what you think/know about my bike cause the net seems to have little to offer on this particular manufacturer.

The Jamis Aurora is a very interesting and attractive looking ride. I am trying to decide between the Aurora, Surly LHT, and Bianchi Volpe. My LBS sells jamis and bianchi, and he can order any Surly(obviously).
i just wish he could get all three in for me to test ride in my size at the same time.

new mods
I put some new upgrades on my Kona blast. The Brooks b17 and the mtx rack, bag, and XC717 w/ slicks and it is getting a cat computer soon. This bike is a pleasure on my short 6 mile commute. I have some 700c disc wheels in the mail.

my wife's commuter
My wife enjoyed my bike so much that I had to get her a distraction (her own bike). She doesn't like the factory speed seat, so we order another b17 and some more proofide.

Now I just have to put on my cross tops then wrap the bars.
I drooled over Surly bikes and finally have mine.

It's a Felt Curbside single speed, I added the rack and bags. It really is a nice ride the forks are carbon fiber which helps out a lot on the roads I have to ride.

New Fuji Touring
Well I went to the LBS yesterday looking for a Cross Check complete...picked this Fuji Touring up instead. I think it suits me better. Broke it in with a 36 mile ride today. The ride is plush and the secondary brake levers are really helpful in traffic. The only downside is the weight (I believe it's 27.5 pounds without the fenders and bag). Anyway, it's still amazing compared to my previous bike (a mid 90's Trek 820).

Looks like a fun bike though!

Two week old Trek 7.2 FX. Better for commuting than the KHS Alite 500 I has been using. 720mm wheels ROCK!
Picture was taken on San Diego trolley. Since it is a double track system, the doors only open on one side of the car until it reaches the end of the route, where is switches tracks, and the doors on the ohter side are used on the return trip. I wedge it between the grab bars and take a seat for the twenty mile trip.

Bought this one in 2003 second-hand for 45 Euros. Been in daily use since. It's a DBG Ranger of unknown vintage. I have changed the tyres once (CST Breaker) and that's it. Chain gets lubed about once a year with motorcycle chain spray and i cleaned the bike last week for the first time

Luv my Luxe
My daily commuter is a 25-year-old Schwinn Le Tour Luxe.
A few months ago I got tired of the old metallic turd color and found a powder-coat shop that gave me a deal on some metallic silver left over from a job they did on Victoria's Secret display racks. I liked it so much I splurged on a Brooks saddle and leather bar wraps worth more than the bike. Everything else is original, made-in-the-U.S. Cro-Mo frame, Belgian alloy 27" wheels, French freewheel and pedals, SunTour Mountech derailers, Dia-Compe centerpull brakes. Weighs 27 pounds, the steel frame and longer wheelbase made for a comfortable, forgiving and steady ride.
My commute is less than five miles each way, about half on city streets and the rest urban neighborhoods. I actually look forward to heading to work now, but I immediately start watching the clock impatiently for quitting time.
