I like it. But it doesn't look waterproof. Is she a fair weather rider?

Just snagged this pic. Over at my in-laws for a water heater change, lending a hand.

Nice Specialized commuter.

Thanks! It works surprisingly well and rides smooth with the 35c tires on it. I may drop by B17 saddle on this one from my Langster.

if your looking to run a titec h-bar and you have seperate shifters and brakes you will have to mount one or the other on the upper loop both of them wont fit on the lower with the grips installed. if you decide you want to try the titec out get it off pricepoint they are 39.98+shipping.i have shifters and brakes in one single unit and i still had to trim about 1/2" off my grips. the jones loop h-bar can accomadate both shifters and brakes as the rear grip area is longer but they are 120.00 which is why im trying the titec first. also with either i believe you will have to swap stems possibly, im not to sure on this. but i did have to lengthen my cables as they were to short hope it helps and goodluck so far mine are working great

Oddly enough, the riding is much less painful than standing and walking as long as I take it easy.

1950 Raleigh Sports Picked the bike up on Thursday morning and have ridden it nearly 80 km already... added the rack, light, and pump last night to make it more utilitarian. |

My quick commuter when I can store it in my office. Also my long distance bike. |

http://i600.photobucket.com/albums/t...kCommuter1.jpg How are you liking the Avenir Panniers? I was about to pull the trigger on some myself but am torn between the sensible purchase and the expensive one (Ortlieb Back Roller Classic). Keep trying to convince myself that it's a sound investment but I'm about to be in major debt and strapped for cash (dental school). |

Nashbar X build. My first drop bar bike, rolling on my first homebuilt wheels:
http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/y...ey/yellow2.jpg http://i787.photobucket.com/albums/y...ey/yellow1.jpg Built this to race 'cross, but scheduling conflicts prevented participation this year. So I mounted fenders and bought a set of studded Hakkas so that I can use it as the backup 'muter/cat 6 race bike this winter. Hopefully I won't be working weekends next fall, so that I can get out and race the bike for real. PS. Sorry for spamming this thread, but I have few months worth of it to catch up on :D |

I love it, very clever! It reminds me of a cool handmade felted wool bag that someone was showing off in C & V recently. I love how organic bags like this look compared to the typical modern plastic & cordura high-tech bikeshop stuff.

All right Sixty Fiver, do you actually keep track of how many bikes you own??? :D
Was just given a complete, but disassembled Moulten Mk2 which I plan to customize and build up to resemble this... thi8s will be awhile as I have to do the frame mods and get it powder coated and build some new high performance wheels. http://www.ravingbikefiend.com/bikep...ltonrecord.jpg There is a Dawes Kingpin folder I inherited... figure this will be an all rounder with an SA 8 speed cassette / drum in the rear and was given the '72 Raleigh as a wedding present in September. I should start a spreadsheet but think I was at 17 before all these bikes fell on me. |

Here's my ride, Trek 7.5FX disc. I commute most days of the week plus weekend and grocery trips. Does really well.

Ha! I had my mom knit me a couple things like that....except they were sized to fit a water bottle and went on the handlebars.

Dual PB turbo's! You should put them both on solid and use the blink mode as a turn signal. Of course, that's not practical.
