Hi Domindart.
Nice bike. I don't see a rack so do you use a messenger bag or backpack?
How far is your commute? What parts of town do you ride through?

thelazywon 06-11-06 09:43 AM

My newest commuter! I got this bike off a friend for 375 bucks

My new fair weather commuter. Had to switch to a messenger bag (no racks), but am not complaining so far :).

Is that inner tube? If so, I did the same thing. Theft is pretty bad around here.

dude, who are you trying to kid? That fork with the celeste paint job screams out Bianchi. There's no other bike with that type of color.

My newly rebuilt 1986 Schwinn Passage. See link in my sig for lots more pics and information on the build.

I'll be starting commuting later this week as long as temps stay below 100 for the ride home. I have a trunk, but may have to search ebay for a cheap pannier for one side. Time will tell.

What a great commuter, LilSprocket! :)

Actually the 1x1 has the perfect geometry for the height. There is no compromise in the seat tube angle. You're a smart girl, alright. :D

My friend took one look and said it looks like an army courier motorcycle.

Additions are a kickstand and water bottle cage; haven't transferred anything over from my old bike yet.

Nice bike. So you're happy with it? I'm thinking of getting one for my mom. Does is feel fairly light, or does it weigh a ton?
