how do you like the bar tape?

For how cheap it was, the clock is exceptionally well made, and was super easy to install. I have no doubt of its shockproof-ness and waterproof-ness, and the machining is smooth and top notch. The only negative is the cheesy engrish writing around the base; I'm probably going to spraypaint it black. Very happy with it. I haven't installed the bar tape yet so no review yet, but the texture seems good at first touch.

Got a bit of a speed upgrade :)

Old commuter: Trek 4300 with regular MTB tires.
New commuter: Ridley Fenix.

Still can't get over how much lighter the Fenix is!

Wow, that's a huge upgrade! Congrats!

Thanks! Second day commuting on it and I love it. So much quicker getting up to speed, especially uphill. Corners much better too.

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=427224this is my winter bike! It is a department store Schwinn (6061 aluminum before those bikes became completely worthless, circa early 2000's.) Components are mostly stock (Shimano Atlus, Suntour XCT, etc.. .) although I swapped the springer fork for a steely rigid. Added a rear rack, fenders and mudflats, panniers, and Velociraptor 2.1 tires; she rides nicely through the slop.

From this morning's commute, just before the bike toppled over in the wind

Nice bike. Where are you?

I think we all here are happy enough to see bikes that the photographic quality doesn't matter. We just need another fix.

I bet we would all love professional photos of or bikes with nice backdrops, lighting, fresh washing. Just like mom makes the family do every Christmas.

Thanks! I'm in Columbus, Ohio. Last spring I traded an old mongoose for the Torker (hence the creative user name) and I've been hooked on commuting ever since.

I wasn't brave enough to ride yesterday or today.

Tom, it's the parking lot for the USS Intrepid. Check it out sometime!

Jeez, I pass that on almost half my rides. I really should check it out.

You know, when I went in '09, I we parked somewhere way out of the way and took the subway down towards the Intrepid; I never saw the parking lot.

Very Nice beautiful bike, very nice full fenders and racks, what brand and what size are those fenders?

Thanks.

Thanks, they are the SKS P35 Longboards. No complaints as far as the weight and functionality of the fenders; they do the job and do it well.

Sorry, still doesn't look commutery. I've been saying I'll put a rack on since I got it, but I've been somewhat content with backpack commuting on my short commute, and since living with the gf most of the shopping is done at costco so I haven't had need for much more cargo. Still prefer a rear rack over a pack, though... It's just so pretty (to me) right now.

I'm doing the same right now. I have a seat pouch for pleasure rides, and use a really lightweight backpack for commuting to work and the gym. With how light it is I really don't mind it for shorter rides.

I like the Torker Graduate, but what brakes do you have? Is that a front roller/rear coaster? I don't see anything else... also, what gearing are you running?
