Except it seems to be about $10/foot...could get expensive.

15' for $13 at Identi-Tape dot com. I have my whole bike outlined in the stuff and it works great.

The 3M SOLAS tape is incredibly reflective.

Yeah, but your bike looks like a rescue buoy during the day. The nice thing about the 580 and 680 series tapes is that they come in a bunch of colours so you can (usually) match your frame.
