Ryan Bowen has asked me to get The Word Out.
He would like to have more riders join him on his ride to DC.

He is very tired. 5 hours sleep last night
Rode 92 miles today.
Spending the night near Savanna Georgia.

He likes phone calls.
He has an ear piece, He can talk while riding.

Call Him at: 323-770-8170

I think obama is a complete tool. That being said, I applaud this guy and would gladly ride along with him for a bit, but, he's coming from the wrong direction geographically as well as politically.

I think it's great what he's doing, but I'm not going anywhere NEAR DC come inauguration time. Is he planning on arriving here earlier? If he's coming earlier than inauguration day, I would be willing to join up with him. But come Sunday evening I'm outta here!

I read about this guy in the touring forum. Nuts. I'll be extremely impressed if he's able to pull this off. Especially since he has no experience doing multi day tours.

Nevermind. I'm not going to finish typing out that long reply. It started with,"Ok folks, read carefully before flaming",but noone would have.

Lets all 'raise awareness' and 'inspire'. That'll be great. Ya know folks,I can remember when more people carried Red Cross cards instead of cell phones.

It's been largely a political discussion since Ryan first posted. And unfortunately that's been his design. It's admirable a young man decided to ride across the US, even if he got rides some of the way. It's silly to think he's doing it for anybody aside from himself.

Is this supposed to mean something? If you weren't just hatched, you can probably remember when nobody carried cell phones because they didn't exist. What exactly is that supposed to prove?
