Ain't that the truth! I've got 1 major street crossing in the morning and 2 at night that take forever to cycle through, especially if there are no cars crossing my way to trigger the light. To top that off, three blocks up the road is a triggered light at a relatively small intersection that my bike will trigger every time! It makes me wonder if there is some sort of sensitivity adjustment our public works folks could make on those long lights that I can't trigger.

Bikes: "Hildy", a Novara Randonee touring bike; a 16-speed Bike Friday Tikit; and a Specialized Stumpjumper frame-based built-up MTB, now serving as the kid-carrier, grocery-getter.

I stopped tracking miles this year. Riding is a lot more fun that way! I turn on the GPS when I need it for directions or distances between turns.
