Sticky LEDs lights

Found these and just wanted to share with other commuters.

I've not purchased yet, but I like the looks of them.
Anyone use this style of light?

FWIW, a friend gave me one of their "TurboFlare" things, thinking I could somehow mount it on my rack, and it's useless. Not very bright at all. A SuperFlash would vastly out-perform it. A Dinotte would set it on fire.

Bikes: Too darn many.. latest count is 11

X2 on what ItsJustMe said. Planet Bike Superflash if you're looking to go the best of cheap lights, Dinotte if you're looking to get the brightest that's out there.

I've seen them on other cyclists. They seem to provide an extra layer of visibility, but I wouldn't use one as my primary light. Also, if it's red, I'd never mount it on the front of my helmet like in the picture. That's just dumb.

And possibly illegal. Actually, PROBABLY illegal.

I have one of the larger light bands that I bought a few years back. They're not very bright at all. The batteries also aren't waterproofed,so I could see them shorting out after riding awhile in a downpour. The reflective part actually reflects quitewell;in fact if you shine a light on it the reflection will overwhelm the light. If you want helmet mounted lights,I would suggest a set of PB Spoks or Blackburn Fleas.
