1st Day Back on the Bike!!!!!
Hey all,
Just like the title says, this was my first day back on the bike since the school year started! There was still a little to much So. Cali in me to be riding around in -10` and snow drifts here in NW Indiana!
It was 40ish and GREAT! I scoped out my ride to and from my new job. Its 5.8 miles to and from, with 95% of it being on the MUP!
My wife always freaked out about my riding to and from, because I had to ride some heavily trafficked streets..... Not any more! I'm curious what she's going to complain about now?
I'm hoping to get 1000 miles on the bike this spring/summer and have every intention of doing the "tour de shore" from Chicago to Michigan..... Need to research that....
I"M BAAAAACK!

Yeah. I'm going to be able to ride to school most of this week. It was in upper 50's, lower 60's this weekend, and I did 52 miles. I haven't 'commuted' to and from school since early november. It'll be good to get back.

Oh yeah - I'll be riding tuesday. Looks like all of us in the North East are ready to break out of our cabin fever mode and hit the streets. 40's for the rest of the week here.
