Would have been 10x better.
For one, the image quality would have been worlds better so you could actually make things out and not wonder what the heck you were looking at.
And two, you wouldn't have to bother turning your computer's sound off.

What are you a freaking movie critic now. You too have missed the point. How's your piece of coal coming along since you swallowed it? Is it a diamond yet? Uptight so and so! LIGHTEN UP FRANCIS!!!

Jeebus dude. You may want to look into a mirror.
Anyhow.... can I have a diamond as well? With my finances I could use one.

I just love how people are being movie critics about a movie posted on youtube.com Now that's funny!

I'm not sure you understand. The problem is that at dialup speeds, any video takes way too long to download. It simply has to be very compelling material to make it worth even trying to download. YouTube is much better than say Yahoo videos because after it has finished loading, you can rewind and play it, whereas Yahoo's news videos just go onto another video after it finishes loading, so you have to monitor it very carefully.

And while I admit it would be nice to get broadband access, while I am unemployed, it is much lower on my budget priorities.

If you want to share your bike with us, please make it easy to enjoy it. Here's how I roll. Enjoy.

You will have fun. Make sure you stop in the pass through towns and see what the overnight towns have to offer. enjoy the food, music and atmosphere of RAGBRAI. It is truly something to be enjoyed and you will enjoy it all that much more if you're prepared for it.

I hope this helps. For more info go here; https://www.ragbrai.com/ and here; https://forums.ragbrai.org/
I was just going to let this die, but since it's right back at the top anyway... THANKS for the RAGBRAI info. We wouldn't consider going bandit, just because we don't know IA at all (although I went to college in Rock Island IL), terrain sounds similar to Austin, hilly and windy! and with sign up you get "free" transportation of camping gear to each stop? Although I guess we'd have to go with a service anyway to get back to our starting point. I think our biggest concern will be tons of beginners and kids on the route, can we bypass some of that by starting earlier than most?

Thanks again and sorry to hijack the original post.
