Niterider - good folks
It's been a long while since I've been here, but I wanted to relate a very nice experience I had with Niterider. We have two Ultrafazer 3.0 lights on our around town (beater) bikes. Before my wife even got a chance to use hers, her bike fell over with the light mounted. The light didn't hit anything, but the momentum of the light broke the flat slide-in part of the bracket when the handlebar abruptly hit the floor. Being the cheapo type that I am, I swapped hers and mine, then glued the broken bracket and used it for a few months on my beater.
It finally broke again a few weeks ago. I decided I needed to replace that part instead of trying to glue it again. I couldn't find it listed in the parts on the Niterider website, so I wrote to ask them if they had the part I could purchase. A couple emails back and forth to establish just what version of the light I have and yesterday not one, but two complete brackets showed up in the mail (complete as in the handlebar clamp, the flat bracket and the bolt/nut) for no charge. This wasn't for some multi-hundred dollar light system. I think I paid $25 each on sale for these lights.
I was very impressed with their customer support, so I thought they deserved a little public recognition.
