I dropped a loadie

I saw a roadie trying to catch me riding home last night.
But the chili I had for lunch kicked in, forcing me to sprint for home.
I didn't make it in time.
I cannot guarantee that no roadies were hurt in the making of this thread.
That is all.

jpdesjar 03-26-09 09:10 AM

bummer
i know how dangerous chili can be

DataJunkie 03-26-09 09:12 AM

lol
I have an 80 year old stomach in a 33 year old body. I know the feeling.
This rider knows where every port-a-pottie is on his commute.

Bat22 03-26-09 09:36 AM

There is only one port a pottie I can depend on.
It is only in service during warm weather.:speedy:

chipcom 03-26-09 09:52 AM

uh hum...can anyone pronounce 'roadie' with a Japanese accent? :innocent:

DataJunkie 03-26-09 09:55 AM

Using a port-a-pottie after it has just been cleaned in 5F temps is one of life's little pleasures.
By pleasures I mean a race to see how fast one can finish up in before freezing to the seat.

Bat22 03-26-09 10:15 AM

Unlocked pottie during winter. That would be a happy luxury.:)

Ka_Jun 03-26-09 10:18 AM

Does this mean you "jumped the shart"?

Chinese marketing specialist: "Mistel, will you buy this fine Lolex whach, only 15 dollals fol you!"
Western tourist: "A 'genuine' Rolex for 15 dollars? I'll buy it if you can pronounce "Rolex" correctly"
Chinese marketing specialist: "Lolex?"

SSfreak 03-26-09 11:04 AM

I hate to ask, but I just can't help myself......

Is the port-a-pottie liquid still, er, LIQUID way below freezing temps?

I'm from the South (northen hemisphere). Gimme a break.

Having stopped at enough port-o-johns during mid-winter distance rides, I can assure you that at temperatures down to 20F, the blue stuff is still liquid.

Commuter76 03-26-09 11:19 AM

Well, even if the ride wasn't pleasant, you still had a good run, right?

the thread just one up from this one just now was on the topic of sanitizing shorts. Maybe chipcom should a read through? oh and thanks for _not_ posting pictures. :innocent:

DataJunkie 03-26-09 11:20 AM

The liquid they use to clean it with was not even remotely close to freezing when I had to hover inside the port-a-pottie. They had finished cleaning right when I was pulling up.

My thoughts exactly. I bet those bib straps were a nuisance when you finally made it home.
