In Chattanooga, in jeans, construction helmet, wife beater t-shirt and 'stache, steel towed boots and cigarette hanging from his face on a Huffy with turned up drops and suicide levers sticking up higher. Hands down, bar none.

My catch phrase when riding my bike is, "Watchile pendajo!" (sp)

Just about everyone understands what it means, and can be applied to a wide range of bicycle "sins" from riding the sidewalks, to riding the wrong way in the streets and running lights and signs.

But are they bad riders, or are they guilty of nothing more than looking awesome?

Get over here and try it out.

The coolest question I get is, "What'd that cost ya?"
""So much, etc."
"You could'a got a tv for that much."

Bikes: I have 3 singlespeed/fixed gear bikes

I think it is easier to deal with a bad cyclist then a bad driver. A bad driver with a 3000 pound steel box can do much more damage then some guy on a bicycle.

I agree as well. I hate it when anyone rides down the wrong side of the street.

well....
How many Gin and Tonics have I had before riding? Is my bandana straight? No reflectors or lights so cops can't get me for DWUI? Dark clothes to blend in better? Two sets of bar ends attached to each other for upright comfort? Two working gears on a 27 speed? Well yellowed dork-disk with a chunk gone...oh yeah! My chain from a dog collar and a small luggage lock.

Y'up! Ready to roll! See you on top of Mt.Evans Fancy Man!

...and yes, the other threads are tired re-treads. Thanks for this one though...

Ban guzzi,

Wear your bandanna like suicidal tendencies with a bell citi helmet. That would be dope.

Bikes: Vaterland and Ragazzi

Sanctimonious Bicycling Nannys who whine, rant or get driven crazy by other cyclists' behavior because it isn't as perfect as their own. Double down worse if they are nervy enough to yell gratuitous advice at those cyclists on the street/sidewalk. Triple worse if they cite "Darwin."

I prefer any bicyclist over a driver. But if I had to choose one, the road racer, - you know the whole Armstrong outfit, going down the residential street with 25mph, ignoring traffic lights or any other common sense caution.

Hey now I have 2 handlebar mounted mirrors and a helmet mirror and I ride a recumbent. I am not old, blind or deaf. WTF is yours and the OP's problem with recumbent riders, especially those of us who commute on our recumbents?
