Here it is:

The chainguard is a Hebie chainglider.

The loose wire along the top is the rear-light power cable. I installed it at full length and haven't shortened it yet...

The Pashley gives a similar ride, all set to go for a very reasonable price. People drop $10K on a wristwatch and $1K on dinner, for those folks a Pasley is cheap. I'd rather have a Pasley than some hidious 20lb CF urbanized Trek.
My IGH bike (the one I posted a picture of) ended up weighing 14 kg (31 lbs), my road bike with rack, battery lights and cycle-computer (no fenders) is 11.6 kg (26 lbs).

Surprise him with a Pashley Tube Rider. I guarantee you he'll never hang it on the wall to look at it.

Get him the Wakkiki Sunrise! Just be warned - he may want to sleep with it instead of with you!

Well then, you're all set and don't need a Pasley, good luck to you!

If you can guarantee that, I'll order one today.

He probably would not ride either. He has a downhill rig and a street trials rig that he built exactly the way he likes them. He has ridden many bikes and does not see the point of actually riding non-mountain bikes. Other bikes are appreciable only as art.

If I found a Pashley 26Mhz frame, he would explode from happiness, though.
