There is a culture in Queens involving bikes like this:

https://madeinqueensfilm.com/

It's amazing the things people apply themselves to...

Bikes: Some bikes. Hell, they're all the same, ain't they?

If they wanted it to sound any good, they'd box the speakers to contain the sound from their backs and control the cones' movement.

Oh well... all that effort to produce crappy sound...

Bikes: 198? Univega Custom Maxima, 2009 Motobecane Fantom Cross Uno

Could be done a lot cleaner with some of those outdoor "rock" speakers.

Subwoofer without a box is useless. Might as well fart into a paper flat in rhythm.

Looks like a lot of the cars that drive between Belton and Temple there.

Perhaps it's someone from Copperas Cove?

I see much room for improvement. The boys have good intentions but the bikes look primitive. With some more thought I'm sure they can come up with something clever. However, we should applaud their creativity. Apparently, this subculture is still in its infancy. I don't mind, just don't come down my block with that sh*t. (jk but really, we have enough with the cars)

Bikes: the ever shifting stable loaded with comfortable road bikes and city and winter bikes

a scraper bike, a work in progress lets hope.

i found myself riding behind a scraper bike in San Francisco last summer, it was a blast and everyone seemed to be enjoying the rolling sound machine.

What's wrong with that bike. A little junky, but good for putting around.

Wrapping an amp/headunit in plastic, powering speakers with no enclosure? Hope he didn't spend too much money on those components.

It's likely this person paid "nothing" for the sound system. OTOH, some insurance company probably wrote a check to the owner of the car they were taken from.

I see many music bikes around LA but this bike is just weird. Usually people will get a rack and mount a battery and some speakers or construct a music trailer. That thing just looks cramped and uncomfortable.

Nonsense! You can build a dipole subwoofer easily. Dipole speakers in general have been commercially available for decades.

Dipole speakers still have baffles. These are suspended with wire ties. Just sayin'.
