At its shortest, my commute is four miles each way. From door to door, I give myself 35 minutes- but I usually get to work with a half hour to spare. This time of year, I have to wait for a space in traffic before I walk my bike across the main road and then remount.

In the summer my ride to work takes me about 25 min. 5.8 miles, Going home about 20 min.
In the winter going to work has taken me 35 min because of ice and snow.
Also going to work is a lot more uphill..

Here is a link for my ride to work.

I started bike commuting a couple of years ago with a 40-45 minute, 9 mile commute (one way). Since that time, my job location has changed and then we moved, bumping my commute up to an hour (14 miles) and finally to an hour and 20 minutes (19 miles). I never would have tried to ride 19 miles one way initially, but I now find it to be not bad at all. In fact, I am almost always looking forward to my ride to work on Monday morning after not getting in any good riding over the weekend.

15+ miles, just over an hour. Right now it is pushing 100F and 100% humidity. I have strange idea of fun...

I had a sub one hour each way one day last week. I am getting faster, but I stop so many times it is hard to tell.

30+ there, slightly more back (evil hills.)

I hate the hill on the way back, it just keeps going and going, I hate it cause I actually have to stop and catch my breath and I am not a sissy. Makes me want to work harder at hills so I can defeat that #$%#$%.
