Do I only need one lock with antitheft?

Hi, I have a kryptolok, and I've signed up for the anti-theft program. I have a question though; if I get an Onguard Pitbull or Bulldog, and use it with the kryptolok for redundancy, since I am already paying for the Kryptonite's anti-theft, but the Onguard offers more protection, the Onguard will be protecting with it's strength, and the Kryptonite as it's backup and for anti-theft money.

First off no bike is 100% secure regardless of what you have. If a thief has the right tools and wants your bike, then it's as good as gone. Your job is to make the bike less attractive for them and more difficult to take.

Your best bet is to have different types of locks as it requires the thief to have more than one tool. Most cables can be cut pretty easily. Double check your anti theft guarantees to find out what is needed to file a claim.

One anti-theft policy will be enough. It's almost impossible to satisfy the conditions and actually get a payout from any of them, so having only one will mean that you only have the frustration of getting turned down once instead of twice. There's no point in paying for two insurance policies that will never pay you a dime anyway; one payout of $0 is the same as two payouts of $0.

I have a cable lock and a u-lock. The cable lock is probably meh quality, but it is... 1/2 in thick. My kryptolok is 13mm thick aswell. Should that do the trick?
