Gift left on my rear rack

I left my bike locked up downtown for an hour or so, and when I returned there was an empty whiskey bottle balanced on the rear rack. I guess somebody just being funny.

True.

I guess you have to give the guy credit for emptying a whiskey bottle and still having enough in him to balance the bottle without dropping and shattering it around your tires.

I get to enjoy little gifts from various community members also - I have a pickup truck with an open bed.

Though I don't usually notice it until I'm traveling down the interstate at the max speed and the item starts bouncing around. Sometimes it blows out and other drivers get to enjoy it even more than me.

I once found a peeled rabbit head on the rear bumper of my truck, still bloody and dripping.
My first thoughts were someone's trying to intimidate me but they're really doing it wrong
because I collect bones and skulls. Then I looked around a little and saw some other rabbit parts scattered around and figured a hawk must have chosen the back of my truck as a scenic picnic spot.

An empty whiskey bottle is just an insult. Not even a dram left? That's very rude. Unless it was bad whiskey. What brand was it?

At least your bike was still there and you didn't find a whiskey bottle in exchange for your bike.

Exactly. Since it was empty I didn't pay much attention.

Since this was left there on the streets of a downtown area, I'm going to hazard a guess it wasn't a fine single malt Scotch. Probably no big loss. Had there been a dram left, you likely wouldn't have wanted to drink it anyway.
