I feel like a hobo...

Get to work, hang around all sweaty, go into the bathroom, give myself a sponge bath with the paper towels in there, rinse the sweat off my hair, go over to the machine shop and use the air compressor to blow dry my hair then stick it down my pants and shirt to dry the rest of my body...

I often forget how lucky I am to have showers and lockers at work.

But now that its so hot and more humid I still find myself red and sweaty after the shower and change.

Maybe a camping shower with a hoop shower curtain could be rigged up somewhere out back. Then you would really join the freak club in the eyes of co-workers.

Heh I can rig one up, it'll just be really really really weird. Have you tried just sitting around in front of a fan to cool off for 15-20 minutes while you check messages, respond to emails, etc, then showering after your body's cooled off?

I miss non-summer commuting...

I'm still thinking how lucky slvoid is to have an air compressor handy.

And the fact that no one makes fun of me or yells at me for using that thing for 10 straight minutes sitting there.
