Getting back on the saddle

I was regularly commuting to my job until May of this year when I was let go. I've got a new job now at a different company (but sitting in the same building as my last employer, oddly enough) and I'm ready to get back into it! Planning to re-kick it off on Monday.

I'm pretty excited about re-installing my rack and wrapping my LED Christmas lights around my frame this evening! Just had to share my excitement.

Congrats on the new job... Hope you'll be able to give your old boss a "friendly wave" as you head into the office.

Congratulations... maybe you can run over your old boss with your Trek.... or at least rear end his SUV.

Lol, what a fun idea, putting Christmas lights on your ride. I saw some solar powered Christmas lights the other day at the store, I should put those on my bike!

No hard feelings towards my boss. Live and let live.

The ones I've got are powered by 4 AA batteries in a little battery pack. Very bright! Can't use rechargeables, unfortunately, but they last for a looong time. Got 'em at Target last year.

Got my rack back on tonight but the Christmas lights will have to wait for another day. Gotta get packed for this weekend's camping trip! The 3 PB Superflashes should suffice for a few days.
