washed my glasses and bike

at one point on my ride home yesterday, so much glop was flung up onto my glasses that I had to laugh at ever thinking I could ride without them. I washed my bike today, using my water bottles filled with soapy water and an old scrubby sponge with a soapy bucket. I have to get into a regular routine of cleaning without obsessing. the road grunge is really disturbing and my black brake pads make my wheel rim black. they do stop well though, even when wet.

Let me know how you get to there... I'm pretty OCD about a clean and lubed bike.
