Tires for MTB wire bead vs folding bead tire
I'm new to this forum. I'm living temporarily living out of the country and try to buy things back in the states when I'm home. I want to know something about folding bead tires vs wire bead tires, which is better. I ride only on paved roads and need to buy so tires before I go. I want something that is durable, the other day a tire tore and a patch or tube wouldn't have done any good if I hadn't got a ride I would have had a long walk. Additionally, which tire is better Continental, Michelin, or Vittoria for my riding, I have a mtb and ride between 16 to 45 miles

Welcome to BF.
Folding tires weight less and are easier to transport as they fold up.
The Brand is a personal preference thing.
