Nada to date. I ride past a few school bus stops on my commute. I guess the brats clean up before I pass through.
However, I will look a little closer in 2010! |
First off let me rephrase what I mean't when I said I don't tell my stories. I don't tell my war stories. I did mention to my wife I found the dead guy riding, but I don't go on an on about to everyone I met. In fact only my wife and my family and few friends (and now you all) know only because my name was mentioned in the newspaper about finding the dead person; thus obviously I had to speak of it. But talking about a dead guy dying of natural causes IS different then telling of war stories; but after years of not telling war stories is sort of automatic not to speak of dead people in other situations because most people want to hear gory stories and I don't entertain that way. But regardless seeing or finding a dead person is never cool, but I accept the apology, but you didn't offend me.
And sometimes finding a civilian dead person in a quote unquote peaceful country, can be just a gruesome as war when you consider all the murders that occur in the our "peaceful country", and some murders performed here are sometimes beyond anything done in war! Let me explain, in war you expect to find dead people and people blown to bits and expect to incur the task of collecting the parts. In the civilian world the same thing happens such as with the World Trade Center, others aside from that sort of huge event occurs singular when you have a sadistic murder of a heinous degree...I think your imagination will guide you to what I'm talking about. These sort of murders that occur right here in America can be as bad and sometimes worst then what you may see in war because it's unexpected both in the sickness of the murder and unexpected from the type of person that was murdered and what was done to them prior to the murder. Unfortunate thing for war is that some wars civilian children were used and that is especially mentally trying, even though you are prepared for it-your never really prepared, same is true of a police officer with civilian murders. I hope I explained all this well enough for you all; it's late, 1:45am, and I'm tired and not thinking straight. |

I find about $10 - $15 worth of change in a year. Yes, I brake for pennies :D
I've never found a single tool or other bit of treasure. The closest was a two-pound bag of elastic bands... I could make bungees out of those! |
Found a purse with ~$90, cards, a "toy" and other misc items on the road near the exit to a steak-n-shake. Turned it in to the cops, a stranger finding your toy would be embarrassing for both of us.
found $5 when I was a kid, a screw driver, and crushed cell phone that could dial but wouldn't let people hear what I said. |
