SKS fender mounting question
I'm mounting a set of SKS P45s to my '05 Redline Conquest Pro. On the rear fender, however, the Redline frame doesn't have a cross support between the chain stays where SKS provides hardware for a mounting point...
Anyone have any experience mounting these fenders to a frame without that support point? Do I just get creative with zip ties or something? Would love to see a photo or two if you've run into the same problem and have a solution...

You could use P-clamps. I had to for my front fender because my suspension fork had no eyelets. Just take a photo with you to the hardware store--they aren't called P-clamps at all stores (once I described them in detail, the second clerk at the hardware store in the town I live near took me right to them). Here's a link that describes how you'd use them as well as photos. Good luck.

Duh - shoulda thought of the p clamps...have to use some to mount my rear rack anyway. Thx - will play around with those a bit.
10 Wheels - thanks for the awesome pic - although that particular mounting point I don't have a problem with. The one I'm trying to figure out is the mounting point "forward" of that one, down near the front gearing, between the chainstays.
Thanks gang!
