Whats up Bike Forums Members,

I have a 1999 R1 and in the market of purchasing a engine. I need to know what year R1 motors will work. I know that from 1998 to 2001 are pretty much the same and all are carburated. Can anyone school me on this?

I'm gonna say your first step would be to try on a motorcycle forum. 'round here any motor will fit as long as you can reach the pedals.

Wow. Someone didn't look at any subforum or thread title at all.

I think you're looking for www.reading_comprehension.org

Now I know who is placing the ads for motorcycles and scooters in the local craigslist "bikes" category...

It makes me think we need a "best of BikeForums" thread.
