I'm looking for some gloves that will keep my hands dry and warm while I'm commuting and touring, and I've come across these SealSkinz Ultra Grips. Any experience with these?

Those look like the same SealSkinz I wear for cool weather cycling, canoeing and kayaking. They work okay as long as you keep them dry. When they get wet they're pretty much worthless for warmth, but they're as good or better than any other thin glove I've tried.

For me "waterproof/breathable" means once I sweat through they will be wet for a month and stink like two arm pits on my hands. LOL! I found a $12 pair of cheap wool, lined gloves that turned out to be my best gloves. Who knew?

I use SealSkinz for frostbite sailing, hunting and early spring and late fall cycling. I recommend them highly.

I rotate through a lot of different glove and glove combinations based on the conditions at hand. For true waterproofedness, I keep a pair of these in my bag all winter and also if heavy rain is forecast:
