ha ha, yea the cables I made out of leather as a joke but now I love the things and I made all the wood parts on all 3 bikes. the chaingaurd on the Peugeot I bent over an old steel coffee can and the other chaingaurd I used a coffee can and a glas soda bottle.

Stellar wood work. Those are gorgeous machines, especially the Peugeot. I've got a soft spot for French bicycles. That honey leather/wood combination is hard to beat.

Awesome work on the cargo bike. The Peugot is simply inspired.

Did you lengthen an existing frame or did you build the cargo bike from scratch?

Nice work with the wood, canvas and leather. I've been wondering what you've been up to, this explains it.

Ha ha, I am a courier for the courts here in Detroit and have to move transcripts and case files at times all over town. A case file can be well over 40# ea and I have picked up 2 to 3 of them at a time so I needed the cargo bike, BAD!

20 TIMES, YIKES! I fell one time, built some bikes and cut off all my hair for a sick little girl I live in the city so the roads are allways clear for the most part.

I don't think you are a courier. That is just your "day job". What you are is an artist. With some marketing effort you can turn this hobby into a paying gig. Being a surfer, the Peugot evokes fond memories of the old "Woody" surf cars. Beautiful work.

Five times for me. Awesome shiny work, mechanicalron. I wish I had the creativity/skill to do that kind of thing. That is the sort of thing people pay cashy money for.

Nice work, Ron! Is that one your hand-made panniers on the Peugeot? I love the chainguard and matching fenders.

BTW, I though you were a bike mechanic. Did you change jobs? Being a bike courier is one of my fantasy jobs.

The outside is just some trash picked floorring
and the bent wood is some sort of thin plywood that got shipped bet pool table slates and is allso trash picked. The inlay I cut and the chipped away the top layer of the plywood so it fit than I glued it in place. The sadle was an every day padded plastick thing from the 70s that had moldy padding so I just tore it off and added twine and shallack, (sorry if my spelling sucks). Here is a chainguard I made out of some found duct work.
