I'm not going to say I've never fallen off a retaining wall while "commuting" to work.

I'm just suggesting it's not really part of the bicycle commuting process for most people...

Was that part of your commute?

It would have definitely been lights-out for you if you didn't have that helmet. It looks like a piece of something (helmet?) went flying toward the camera after your head hit.

I haven't had a crash of that caliber since I was a lad.

Clearly, that crash was made worse by the helmet.

OMG - you are so lucky to be alive. Being 47 yrs old I think that I would be handicapped after that. Then again I would not have tried to ride on a retaining wall either.

Seems youtube has caused a whole generation to forget the mantra, "start small". Maybe you should try jumping the curb and working your way up. Small tricks lead to bigger tricks.
