I consider myself lucky that my gym is literally a 5 minute walk away from my work - I use it outside of just showering, but even if I didn't go to the gym I think a small monthly fee for a place to shower isn't that bad - I'd be paying over $120 on transit each month anyways if I was relying on that, $50/month for a shower is still cheaper.

I think I'll take up a new super villain role. I'll become Mondo Stank, and will never shower and never apply antiperspirant after riding and I will make all who are unfortunate to be downwind of me see/hear/smell/feel the stink lines.
