help me spend $100

so I won $100 in a raffle. This money can either go towards a SS 29er I'm going to get in a month or so, or some accessory I didn't know I needed.

so let's hear it, tell me how to spend $100.

You can spend it on my Pay Pal account

Save that $100 for upgrading your tires after buying your SS 29er'

Bikes: Trek 830 Mountain Track Drop bar conversion

You're just bragging...

Congrats, though.

If I were to spend $100 right now, it'd be on any of the following:
*New bottom bracket and chain (needed maintenance items)
*Trekking bars and tape
*Panniers
*Front rack
*Clipless pedals and SPD shoes/sandals
*(Upgrading) camping equipment for summer touring
*Rigid fork (to replace current suspension fork on my hybrid)

All these things are on my Amazon wish list if you can't figure out any other way to spend your $100... LOL

I'd use the $100 towards a repair stand...

A Brooks saddle for my commuterized hardtail. But thats me. What do you plan on using the SS for? Fenders, lights, helmet, windbreaker, and saddle are usually the favorites.

Well, if it is an accessory you didn't know you needed, you may not need it, hehehe.

Put it in the piggy bank for the 29er.

Do you have enough biker shorts and wicking tops? You could buy some of those and it wouldn't go awry. I only have two pair of shorts and 3 shirts; I'm going to need to slowly build up my wardrobe so I don't have to do laundry so much.

Don't p*ss it away. Buy one thing that you can point to a year later as the "what i bought with my winnings" prize. Don't fold it into a large purchase or piddle it away on a bunch of other little stuff.

New saddle, good computer, a magicshine or other good lighting, a helmet, etc.

If I had $100 I'd trade in my brooks flyer for a B17 imperial. I just can't get that thing to be comfortable, even after 600 miles and repeated tweakings. Numb taint shouldn't happen after 12 miles.

I'd be surprised if you couldn't make this happen for free in the Classifieds, Craigslist, or ebay. I'll probably be looking to buy another Flyer (in honey color) in the next month or two. What color is yours? Would you sell it to me for $80 shipped to Chicago?

Sorry, mines black. I'm still within the return period from Wallingford Bicycle also, so I may just be trading it in for an Imperial.
