The camera idea is pretty good. I was trying to think of other ways to tell people they messed up while driving and the bird seems like a universal message for "you suck at life." It doesn't help the situation I know, especially for other cyclists. I just wish there was an easier way to tell people they messed up. I guess you can change how everyone drives till we change how easy it is to get a lisence. If I could get away with it at lights I'd tickel these people, cause that would confuse and piss off most of them.

All in all me just flicking off someone is a big step in the right direction for me, so let me have my baby-steps. It's hard going from the "kill them all let god sort them out" to "be the change you want to see in the world." But I'm learning. What should I do next time? I could do my super goofy wave I guess, makes most people laugh. I like the backward duce. I heard a while back it was something from germany equivalent of the bird? If they ever try to talk to me again I'm done trying to teach them the rules of the road, I think I'm going to try a different thing every time. I'll tell ya'll how it goes. I think next time I'll just repeat whatever they say or somethign idiotic.

Maybe you should go with the thumbs up -- there's nothing to lose, since even if they see your gesture, any idiot who earned it is unlikely to get a clue just because you caught them being a moron, and you're less likely to be run over by the occasional road-rage lunatic that way.

Aloha,

You're gonna think I'm crazy, but I keep a sign in my car that looks just like the ones they use at the olympics that says 9.3

I hold it up at people who pull off stupid manuvers in traffic. I've gotten a lot of friendly waves from others who found it funny. I like it 'cause it keeps the road rage down...

That is possibly the best idea I've ever heard. Now all I need is a holster for the sign on my bike and I'm set.

Reverse Duce- I believe the first George Bush figured that one out on his visit Down Under. I still remember all the news reports of the President thinking he was making a V for victory with his hand, but was unknowingly flipping off ever one in the crowd. I believe you need to show the back of your hand while making the V.

I've seen bike cops, but never private security people on bikes. What kind of places do you help secure?
